Terms of Service
Last updated: October 31, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Inkstone Labs, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Inkstone Labs", "we", "us"). We run metime at metime.ink. Please read them, because they include an agreement to resolve disputes by individual arbitration instead of in court or in a class action (see "Disputes"). You can opt out of arbitration within 30 days.
By creating an account or using metime, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Content policy. If you do not agree, please do not use metime.
Who can use metime
- You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
- When you sign up you confirm that you are an adult and that every character in the stories you ask for is an adult.
- In some US states the law requires us to verify your age before you can start or continue a story. If you are in one of those states, or we can't tell which state you're in, you must complete verification with our partner Didit when we ask. Until you pass, you cannot use story, picture, film, narration, chat or call features, and we may close an account that does not pass. See the 18+ notice.
- metime is available only to adults who are in the United States. If we can tell that you are somewhere else, you won't be able to use it until it is offered there. Don't use a VPN or any other tool to hide where you are in order to get around this, or to get around age verification in your state.
- One account per person. Do not share your account or let anyone else use it.
What metime is
- metime writes erotic fiction for you with artificial intelligence (AI). It can also make pictures and short films of your story, narrate chapters with synthetic voices, and let you chat with or call your story's characters. An author mode lets you plan and edit chapters yourself.
- Everything is generated for you by AI, only for your own stories. No person writes, draws or voices it. Before you see or hear anything, our automated moderation checks it against our Content policy, and our staff review what those checks block and what readers report.
- Characters you chat with or call are AI, not real people. If you sincerely ask a character whether it is a person or an AI, it will tell you plainly that it is an AI. See our AI-generated content page.
- Stories are fiction. They are not advice of any kind, and they can contain mistakes. Any resemblance to a real person is accidental.
- metime is not a crisis or counselling service. We try to recognise when a message you send in a chat, a call or to the night clerk suggests you may be in danger, and then show support resources instead of a reply, but our checks can miss things. Characters are not people or professionals and can't help in an emergency. If you are in danger, call 911, or call or text 988 in the US.
Your account
- Keep your passkey and account key private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Tell us at hello@metime.ink straight away if you think someone else has used it.
The rules for what you ask for
- Everything you type or say on metime must follow our Content policy. It applies to every request, direction, note, edit, chat message and call, and it cannot be switched off.
- Prohibited content. The Content policy lists in full what you must never ask metime to make. In short: anything sexual involving anyone under 18 or anyone who reads as a child, any child in or near a sexual scene, and diapers or adult-baby play; sexual content about real people, and deepfakes; non-consent of any kind, including sleeping, unconscious or incapacitated partners and roleplayed non-consent; sex under the influence of alcohol, drugs or hypnosis; incest; bestiality and cruelty to animals; sex involving the dead; scat, vomit or urine (watersports) in a sexual context; graphic violence, torture and snuff, including fantasy snuff; kidnapping, abduction and captivity; prostitution, escorting and polygamous marriage; hate speech; real instructions or planning for illegal activity, such as making weapons or bombs; and real medical, legal, financial or gambling advice.
- No deepfakes. You must not use metime to create "deepfake" images, video, audio or text of real people: anything that shows, imitates or puts words in the mouth of a real, identifiable person, sexual or not.
- Our automated checks are designed to stop requests and content that break the rules before you see them, and blocked text is not saved. We keep a short record of the block (not the text, unless the law requires us to preserve it) for review. No automated check is perfect: if something gets through, report it and we remove it.
- Do not try to get around our safety checks, age checks or limits, for example by rewording blocked requests over and over, using code words, or automating requests.
- You must not ask for sexual content about any real person, including people you know. Our checks block famous and named real people, but can't always tell when an invented name belongs to someone real, so this rule depends on you.
- Do not ask for stories based on characters or worlds from other people's books, films, games or shows (fan fiction).
- Do not use metime to harass anyone or to break the law.
- Do not copy, scrape, resell, or reverse engineer metime, or use it to build a competing service.
- We limit how much each account can create in an hour and a day, to keep the service fair and safe.
Your stories and content
- Your stories, pictures, films, narration, chats and call transcripts are private to you. We do not publish them or show them to other readers.
- You keep any rights you have in what you type. What metime makes for you is for your own personal, non-commercial use. Do not post or share explicit pictures, films or stories from metime publicly, and never present anything from metime as showing or describing a real person.
- You give us permission to store, process and display your content, and to send it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy, only so we can run metime, keep it safe and lawful, and handle reports.
- Our staff may look at an item when our safety systems flag it or when someone reports it. Otherwise we do not read your stories.
- The same AI can produce similar text or pictures for different people, so we cannot promise that anything is unique to you.
- metime itself (the app, its design, the name and our own text) belongs to Inkstone Labs. These terms do not give you any rights in it beyond using metime as intended.
- If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
The free taste, plans and credits
- Free taste: you can read the first 3 chapters of each of your first 2 stories for free. No card is needed, and it is not a trial: nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe.
- Plans: Spark costs US$6.99, Flame US$9.99 and Blaze US$14.99, each for 30 days. Each plan includes a set number of new chapters and scene pictures every 30 days, and a daily limit on chat messages with your characters. Flame and Blaze also include credits every 30 days; Spark does not. Higher-priced plans include more, and the Credits & plan screen shows what each plan includes. New chapters count over a rolling 30 days, and rewriting a chapter does not count. Fair-use limits on how much each account can create in an hour and a day also apply. Your plan renews automatically every 30 days at the same price until you cancel or change plans.
- Changing plans: you can change plans on the Credits & plan screen. A higher-priced plan starts as soon as the payment goes through: you pay the difference for the days left in your current 30-day period, then the new price at each renewal. A lower-priced plan starts at your next renewal, and you keep your current plan until then. We always give you at least 7 days' notice of a new renewal price: if you change plans less than 7 days before your next renewal, that renewal is charged at your current price, and the new price (and, for a lower-priced plan, the plan itself) starts at the renewal after it. If you have cancelled, or our payment processor cannot change your plan, you can choose a new plan when your current one ends.
- Credit packs: one-time purchases of 50 credits for US$4.99, 120 credits for US$9.99 or 300 credits for US$19.99. Packs never renew.
- Credits pay for films, narration and calls. The cost is always shown before anything is made. If a film or narration fails, its credits are returned. Live calls are charged by the minute and need an active plan.
- Credits do not expire while your account is open. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are forfeited if you delete your account or we close it for breaking these terms.
- Before you pay, the Credits & plan screen shows the price, how often it renews and how to cancel. Payments are handled by our payment processor, which is named on the checkout page and on your receipt. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your card statement will show a discreet name such as MTI DIGITAL, never what the charge is for. The exact wording is shown on the Credits & plan screen before you pay.
- Paid plans open soon. Until then, nothing is charged.
- If we ever change the price of a plan, we will tell you in the app (and by email if you gave us one) at least 30 days before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel online at any time, in one step: Credits & plan, then Cancel subscription. Renewal stops at once, nothing more is charged, and you keep access until the end of the 30-day period you have paid for. You can also cancel through our payment processor's customer support site, linked from your receipt.
- Our refund rules are on the Refunds and cancellation page, which is part of these terms. In short: we refund your first subscription charge if you ask within 7 days; we always refund charges made after you cancelled, duplicate charges and charges for something we failed to provide; and we refund an unused credit pack within 14 days.
- If you dispute a charge with your bank (a chargeback), the plan that charge paid for ends, or the credits from that pack are removed. Please contact us first, because we can usually fix a problem faster. We may close an account that has a charge disputed without first contacting us, except where the charge was not made by you.
- Nothing in these terms, including the Disputes section, limits your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer.
Deleting your account
- You can export your stories and delete your account at any time in Settings, under Account.
- Deleting your account cancels your subscription and ends your access straight away. The rest of the paid period and any unused credits are not refunded, unless one of the refund cases on the Refunds and cancellation page applies. If you want to keep reading until the period ends, cancel first and delete later.
- After deletion we keep a few records, without your stories, for the periods in our Privacy Policy.
Suspending or closing accounts
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or our Content policy, that fails age verification, or where we must do so by law. Where we can, we will tell you why. You can ask us to review the decision by replying to our message within 30 days.
- If we close your account when you have not broken these terms, we refund the unused part of your current paid period and any unused purchased credits.
- We may change or stop parts of metime. If we stop offering metime altogether, we will give you at least 30 days' notice where we can, and refund the unused part of your paid period and any unused purchased credits.
Disclaimers
- We work hard to keep metime running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error free, or that its content will meet your expectations, and we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- Some states do not allow these disclaimers, so they may not all apply to you.
Limits on our liability
- To the extent the law allows, Inkstone Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of metime.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims about metime is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US$50.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for injury caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Your responsibility to us
If you break these terms or the law while using metime, and that causes a claim against us by someone else, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Disputes
Most problems can be fixed quickly. Before starting any formal claim, please write to hello@metime.ink with your name, the email or account details we can find you by, what went wrong and what you would like us to do. We will try to resolve it with you within 60 days.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and by the Federal Arbitration Act for the arbitration agreement below. If you live in another state, you keep any consumer protections that your state's law gives you and that cannot be waived.
Arbitration. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Inkstone Labs agree to resolve any dispute arising from these terms or metime by final, binding arbitration on an individual basis, instead of in court. The arbitration will be run by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, by a single arbitrator. It can take place by video, by phone, on written submissions, or in the county where you live. Fees are paid as the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules provide. For claims under US$10,000, we will also repay your filing fee unless the arbitrator finds your claim was frivolous. The arbitrator can award the same individual relief a court could.
Exceptions. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. This arbitration agreement does not apply to claims that the law says cannot be made subject to pre-dispute arbitration.
No class actions. You and Inkstone Labs each agree to bring claims only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding, and the arbitrator may not combine claims of different people without the consent of all parties. If this paragraph is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim must be decided in court, not in arbitration. You and Inkstone Labs each waive the right to a jury trial for any claim decided in court, to the extent the law allows.
Opting out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing hello@metime.ink within 30 days of the day you first accept these terms (or, if you already had an account, within 30 days of accepting this version). Include your name and the words "arbitration opt-out". Opting out does not affect anything else in these terms.
Courts. Any dispute that is not arbitrated, and any action to enforce an arbitration award, will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless you are entitled by law to bring it where you live. Small claims may be brought in any court with jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app (and by email if you gave us one) and ask you to agree before you continue. If you do not agree, you can stop using metime and ask us at hello@metime.ink to close your account, and we will refund the unused part of your current paid period and any unused purchased credits. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when these terms last changed.
Other terms
- We send notices about your account in the app and, if you gave us one, by email. You agree to receive them electronically.
- These terms, together with the policies they mention, are the whole agreement between you and us about metime.
- If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a part of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else. We may transfer them to a company that takes over metime, and the terms will continue to protect you.
