100-word description

metime is an interactive fiction app for adults in the United States. A reader describes the story they’re in the mood for, or taps Surprise me, and picks one of eight ideas written on the spot. AI then writes the story a chapter at a time while they read. At the end of each chapter, the reader chooses a direction or writes their own. They can also message or call the characters, hear chapters read aloud, and turn a scene into a picture. Every story is private to the reader. metime is run by Inkstone Labs, LLC, a Florida company, and is 18+ only.

Facts

Productmetime, a web app that installs on a phone like an app. Public site: metime.ink.
CompanyInkstone Labs, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702.
FoundingThe first version of metime was released in 2025. The current app opened as a beta in October 2026, and its public site went live on October 28, 2026.
WhereUnited States only. Visitors from other countries see a “not available in your country yet” page.
Who it’s forAdults 18 and older, or the age of majority where they live. Some US states require a one-time age check (a photo of an ID and a selfie) before the first story, done by the verification partner Didit.
How it worksAsk for a story in your own words or tap Surprise me. Pick one of eight ideas. Read chapter by chapter as it’s written, then choose a suggested direction or write your own. Rewind, edit or branch a story. Message or call the characters. Each story has a heat setting: Clean, Steamy or Explicit.
PriceThe first three chapters of a reader’s first two stories are free, with no card. Plans: Spark $6.99, Flame $9.99 and Blaze $14.99, each for 30 days. Paid plans aren’t open yet, so nothing is charged today.
AI disclosureAI writes every idea and every chapter, and the app labels them as AI-generated. Pictures, films and voices are AI-generated too, and every character is fictional. No person writes or edits the stories. The public pages on metime.ink are written with AI and say so.
Safety approachEvery request and every passage is checked against a written content policy before the reader sees it. If no check answers, the passage is blocked. Every character must be an adult, every scene needs clear consent, and real people are never written. Pictures pass an age check that discards anyone who looks under 25. Readers can report anything, and staff review every report and every block.
PrivacyStories are private to the reader: never published, shown to other readers or sold. No ads and no third-party trackers. Readers can sign in with a passkey instead of an email, export their stories or delete everything.
Public pagesA library of house stories, each with a free first chapter, plus theme guides and a glossary. Nothing on the public site is explicit; explicit chapters are only inside the app, behind sign-up and the age check.
